About

Julia is a filmmaker, photographer and producer who believes in storytelling for change. With a background in both journalism and commercial videography, she uses film to depict deeply human stories that have the power to shape how we see each other as humans and work with nonprofits, brands, and journalists who strive to make the world a kinder place.

From Alaska to Mexico, she has covered topics from climate change to immigration, and has worked for clients such as StarbucksHIAS and the United Service Organization. Most recently, she spent time with immigration activists and Border Patrol agents alike to report on the paradoxes of life on the Texas-Mexico border.

Julia now resides in Baltimore, Maryland where she can be found working as a producer at Early Light Media and swing dancing to jazz music in her spare time.
